CHANNY

Another great legend from Hafan-Y-Mor is the Milton Keynes marvel Channy. Now of Weymouth Bay, another star who started off slowly but soon got into the swing of things.

Channy had the knack of making people laugh just by pulling crazy faces and doing some craziness with her fingers. Are they double jointed, I don't know but it's a cool trick. Channy was a great all rounder and always made us laugh. I remember my brother getting up on stage with her to sing some crazy song in the Pirate show. I think Channy picked Bro just to get him more involved in the Haven experience and it worked. After that, he chilled out and went up on stage several times throughout the holiday. Channy is always determined to achieve and have a good time in the process. When we first met Channy, she would run away and hide from the camera, but by the time we left to come back home, she would make herself available for any photos we wanted to take. She's always great on stage and has a great temperament around the youngsters, getting them involved in everything and when she's finished with them, run grownups! You're next!

A word of warning. If you ever see Channy with a water gun, run like the wind, as her favourite target is anything or anyone that moves, run I say. But it all helps to make Channy the legend she is.
