CRAIG BARCLAY

Craig definitely deserves to be in our legends of Haven board. The first year he started at Haven as a Havenmate at Hafan-Y-Mor Pwllheli, he stood out from the rest of the new guys that year. At the start of the season, he was great with the catch phrase like 'Ello Ello Ello'. He was funny and seemed to have a great effect on those around him. By the end of season, he had grown in confidence and absolutely astounded and captivated the audience, a true star.

No matter what the circumstances, short staffed, things going wrong on stage or technical problems, you could always rely on Crazy Craig to sort the problems out and make sure everyone had a great time. Craig would always find time to spend with the holiday makers and put up with annoying people like us who took hundreds of photographs of the guy. You should look at Craig as a friend rather than a worker because he is so good at his job unless he tricks you into doing 'The Price Is Right', which ends up being the 'Adult Dancing Competition', how embarrassing, I can't dance what so ever. But it did make the holiday that bit better. Anyone who can last a few seasons working for Haven in such a demanding environment truly has a strong character and it finally paid off for Craig. His hard work and determination finally got him promoted to entertainment's manager at Weymouth Bay which is well deserved and great for Craig. But unfortunately means that he's not at Hafan-Y-Mor now which is not so good for us. Craig 'HiYa Tigers' Barclay, a true legend, we miss him always and wish him all the best at Weymouth Bay.
