Took my two children to Doniford this month (July).
Small site but EXCELLENT Funstars!
Katie, Corrie, PJ, Mikey, Jade and Mark were extremely polite and hard working staff and a credit to Haven.
Really kept the children entertained. Evening entertainment, though not at 'high season', was great, Funstars worked well to keep people entertained.

I was in a standard chalet, basic, but comftable.

As it is a smaller site, it meant that you got to know people more than if it were one of the larger sites (I normally use Perran Sands), a lot less walking and all facilities of a good quality, though the onsite shop needed a larger range of goods for self catering guests.
This said, with Watchet only 5 minutes down the road, their convenience store was my place to purchase.

'beach' is a rocky site and not a beach, but with Burnham on sea to the north and north devon easily reached to the south west, was a fantastic base to travel out from.

We went to Doniford Bay in October 2007. We were booked in to a caravan. Even though it was October the weather was nice. The camp was small but very clean and nice. The club was really good the children enjoyes them selves. The staff were great really nice and welcoming. As the camp is small you seen to get to know the Funstars a bit more and really had a family holidat feel. Outside the camp their are lots of things to see out and about, the little village og Watchet is lovely and a must see at sunset. Fab time but if you are looking for a noisy camp this is not for you. This camp is a more layed back camp. Enjoy we did.
