  I have been an owner at Lakeland for the last 3 years, so I hope you find this review helpful and interesting!!!

Lakelands is set in a beautiful part of the country, roughly between Kendal & Barrow-In-Furness. It is a peaceful location, yet theres always something going on!!!

The outdoor pool is the place to be on those summer afternoons!! It's well enclosed, so is a little suntrap!!!! The indoor pool accomodates everyone very well!! It is clean and well guarded by the lifeguards.
This year they have started an aquacise class, I can't wait to give this a go, I will let you know what it is like as soon as I know!

There isn't an all weather sports area at this park, there is a small basketball pitch, a grass sports field, a bowling green and tennis courts. My kids spend hours using these facilities and love it!!

Most of the entertainment at Lakeland takes place in the Showbar. There are 2 bars, the aqubar & the showbar. The showbar has been re-decorated during the winter and looks fab now!! The entertainment can vary. Some nights there are soul tribute bands, other nights a young female duo. You never know what to expect!

The kids clubs are good, the Creepy Crawlies last year were amazing... the kids loved it, hope to see them back this year.

There's a golf course too now. There is a 9 hole course available or pitch n putt (which we went for). It was a real laugh, we did this as a family and all enjoyed it very much.

There's bike hire available, but we never use it, so I cant really comment on this.

To eat there's a chippy (which I'm not over keen on), there's the aquabar (which do some lovely meals and have a healthy eating menu now) and there's a bakery at the back of the shop. The bakery offers pizza's and bacon sarnies, pies & pasties etc. I havent tried the pizzas, but everything else from there is scrummy!!

There's a launderette on site, which is handy.. try to use a dryer in the middle, they get hotter!!!
