CAISTER 2007

By Park Moderator - Sophie

I have been an owner for 2 years now at Caister, but been going on holiday there for about the past 5 years; and this years team seem to be a real friendly, bubbly bunch.

Entertainment manager David Long is so friendly and energetic. He gets everyone involved and is always dancing crazy. Adele is assistant entertainments manager this year and she is so friendly and welcoming to everyone on holiday at Caister. There’s Leanne who is the arcade Funstar that does all the tournaments on camp, such as pool competitions. There is a Funstar show team that is brilliant, female vocalist is Adele with a brilliant voice and Phil is male vocalist and the dancers are Stacey, Kayliegh and Justine who is the dance captain. Neptunes Palace entertainer this year is Pat J who is so funny. Then there is all the other Funstars that are brilliant in their own way Lorna, Gemma, Ra Raa, Debs, Kim, Kelvin and Ben.

All the Caister team this year are brilliant!! The security team, bar staff and all the other members of staff at Caister this year are wicked and friendly people.

The camp has not really changed much from last season. It still has a swimming pool down by the beach, play areas for the children to go and enjoy also a sports area for basketball and football to be played on. There is a hair dresser on camp next to the hire shop and mini golf area and big fun tower. There is also a chip shop on camp up near Neptunes, Oasis to go in and eat or Broadlands for half board and if you book tickets.

Haven Caister has brought Caister beach and Fanfare camps that are next door to Haven Caister, so now the camp has grown. There is a big amusements arcade called Monte Carla and out the back is a Chinese called Yummy House. There is also a bingo hall across from the arcade for all ages to go and play.

There is a new club also called Seagulls it has all been refurbished, it has mini arcades in the entrance then you go into the club room. The room is bigger but the dance floor is a bit smaller than Carosel’s. Seagulls is now open instead of Carosel as the kids club and Neptunes is still open as the main club.

2007 is going to be a wicked season!!
