Devon Cliffs 2005

1. Devon Cliffs is I think the biggest Haven/British Hols site there is! It seriously is massive! It has many facilities to offer: Bay view shopping area which includes a huge gift shop, a sweet factory, Smiles-the photo shop, a bakery and also a general shop. Also on site is a launderette, a hire shop, crazy golf coarse, a sports area which includes 1 big astro-turf area, a smaller sized area & 4 small sized areas and also a basketball court. A swimming pool, a gym & a relaxing spa. There is also a Burger King, KFC, A Fish & Chip Shop & another take-away place. Also there is The Beachcomber seafront pub diner & also a café/bar. D/C has 3 entertainment's venues: Boardwalk, Bugsy's & Capones. All great places! There is also a large reception, an owners lounge & a owners enquiry office. The arcade here is amazing! Games for all. Like the park it is massive. Last but not least there is the Beach which is only a short walk from the complex. Roughly 10 min walk.

2. The Venues here are...
Boardwalk - This is the smallest venue, used in the day as well as in the evening, up until 9pm it is used as an eating venue assisting the bar area for the bar food which is another place in which food is available. Also in Boardwalk there is a Wonder bar!
Bugsy's - Is a decent sized entertainment's room with a bar across the back of the room & a Wonder bar. For this season Bugsy's had a complete makeover & looks great as ever. It is also a Non-smoking venue.
Capones - Is one of the biggest venues throughout Haven & British Holidays! There is a bar situated along the left-hand side, along with a Wonder bar. Also at the back of Capones there is a take out section connected to Burger King.

All 3 venues are situated in the same building which is therefore safer for children enabling them to go from one venue to the other without actually having to go outside. The venues are (If you are entering from the main 'Funworks' entrance) Boardwalk & Bugsy's Up the escalator on the left-hand side. As you reach the top Bugsy's is straight ahead & Boardwalk, an open area to the left of you. Capones is down the set of stairs on the right in line with the escalator, almost straight ahead of you but to the left a bit. The atmosphere is all 3 clubs is great! Always cheery & friendly places.

3. The park in general is very clean. Also all the accommodation. The venues are cleaned well after every night of entertainment.

4. At D/C there is only the option to stay in a caravan. But, there are many different sizes & grades to choose from for your stay.

5. The Entertainment here is fantastic & hard to beat. The Funstars do an amazing job in getting guests involved in different activities in the day & competitions in the evening and also in entertaining them. In the day there is different kids clubs organised in different age groups. There is Paws - for the 1-4 yr olds, have fun with Musical Paws playing instruments & singing to the famous nursery rhymes. Or Messy Paws Painting & Drawing. The Paws leader here is Funstar Luke Rory n' Bradley' Funtime - For children aged 5-10- Get involved with dancing to the Tiger Club song or the Bradley Bear song. Different activities including treasure hunts & also making things like masks. Also getting to meet all the characters including Rory The Tiger, Anxious The Elephant, Greedy The Gorilla, Bradley Bear, Polly, Ned, Sylvester The Snake, Manic The Parrot & Merlin The Wizard. The Leader here is Funstar Kirsty.

T-Co - For the teenagers, 11-16+! Interact & make friends with other teenagers. Compete in many challenges. Also get involved in Manhunt in 2  teams searching round the site. Generally just chillin' & having fun! The leaders for T-Co are I'd say are Funstar Vickie & Funstar David.
In the evening between the different venues the entertainment is jam packed! In Bugsys Rory n' Bradley's Funtime starts the evening off for the kids. There is also Prize Bingo in here for all ages. Boardwalk is used for an eating venue until 9pm. Capones is where Cash bingo takes place.
5th Element are the resident band here this year, they are very good and perform many times a night between Capones & Bugsy's. The shows here are amazing. All the effort put in by all the Funstars is endless. Shows at this park are: Viva Las Vegas, Hollywoodz, Funstarz, Summer Sun & Pirate Mania. All fantastic. Main vocals from Vickie & Lee, also singing is Anthony. All the dancers are amazing too there is Natalie, Rochelle, Zoe, Anthony & Martin. There are many different visiting cabaret acts throughout the season also.

6. The team here are incredible! They all have individual characteristics which make them all great to get on with. All very friendly & easy to get to know & talk to. I got on really well with most of them. From last season there is Vickie & Kirsty who are back this season. They're both great really nice to know. From this season I especially got on really well with Natalie, also I got on well with Luke, David, Naomi AKA Spud! & also Rochelle. I got on well with all of them though. The Funstars at the park this season are:

They all put loads of effort into everything they do whether its during the day entertaining kids or in the evening during shows & generally just talking to guests! Every one of them always Smiles!

7. Devon Cliffs is a great park to visit as it has everything to offer & everything you could ask for in a holiday! Entertainment, Many facilities & A Great time! So get booking, LOL!

8. I have many great memories from Devon Cliffs over the times I have been there. Keeping in touch with most of the Funstars is good to, mainly  Natalie. Also Vickie, Luke, David & Kirsty. Memories include different things like from T-Co or things that some of the Funstars said to me & some general conversations that were really funny or random! & Not forgetting meeting my best friend Sarah! Who is a great friend & lovely to know. Also meeting some other friends that I am still in contact with, My Mini H! Charlie- who is also Vickie's Lil Sister, & also Laura. I always have a fab time there & would live there if I could! LOL!
