HAFAN 'WHY' MOR 2005
Well, We go to Hafan every season and so far, this one was just a short stay. The park was just as good as ever. This park really feels like home to us. We are always greeted by people and it's great to talk to the owners that we meet whilst we are there each year. The park hasn't changed much. This season, everything in its place. Reception at the front, right next to it the Splash Zone, round the corner Hafan Gardens for all you half board people (Usually Us!). As you walk down the main stretch, you have Boardwalk and the Rory and Bradley shop on your left. On the right, a play area, Megga Treats and Showbar that we still call Ceasers. At the bottom there's Treasures for all your gifts with Arcades on the right. Over the bridge is a boating lake and a large outdoor play area, the Bonga Wonga Club and Lakeland Pub.
The Boardwalk is a good size room with a ball pool at one side, Bar in the center and arcades and pool tables around the outside.
Showbar has a bar at the rear to the right, Arcades at the back with Burger King next to it. The Hafan Showbar is huge and still always packed out. The whole park is really clean and just as good as ever. The team this year are superb. It's great to see so many regular Funstars back which is something that a lot of people were pleased to see. Staff too, you practically knew everyone which was great. All the ones we remember for their hard work were back except Richard from the Rory shop. We have known him for years and he is always superb, both when he started in photography and especially in the Rory shop. We really expected to see him. The whole team were great, especially the bar and catering staff and as always Security were wicked!
A few really stood out, they know who they are. As for the entertainment's team, it was great to see Kat presenting. We know she wanted it and she did a brilliant job while we were there, Rach too. They both got Boardwalk really geared up. Cassie was superb vocally in the shows, as was newcomer Jay, really impressed with him. Nikki was superb as always and Chris/Boi with his cool new dance moves stood out more this season, oh and he's your park ranger too! It was the first time that we met Becci Bexter who was so funny, really impressed. The whole team worked so hard and it showed.
Well done Hafan Team!
I think that the next person to get a mention has to be Adrian as Entertainment's Manager. We met him last season, he's a top bloke and this year as Entertainment's Manager, he's even better. He must take some of the credit for the way the team performed.
Also, well done Adrian and well done Hafan team! Hafan 'Why' Mor,cause once you've been this season, you will want more for sure. Keep up the good work guys and anyone going, please say Hi to them for us.
