Welcome To Littlesea

Littlesea Holiday Park - Review by 'Tracey'

Littlesea is a medium sized park with quite a lot of facilities.

There are 2 clubs Spatz and spangles. Spatz is the newest venue with the bar to the side of the room and a balcony at the back. Spangles is the most popular with the wonderbar, bar and photo shop at the side. Spangles is tired with 3 balconies. The atmosphere in both clubs is always great and the Funstars always get the crowd going throughout the night. Spatz is closed in low season but open in the summer season.

There is a shop, Everydays, which is quite a good size and stocks most of your essentials. There is a brand new holiday and owners reception for 2005, which is very lush! There is a laundrette on park. There is a restaurant called strikes, which serve hot food all day at a reasonable price. If that isn’t the sort of food you like then there is always good old foodworks which has all your fast food. In Splashzone there is a main pool for everyone with a lane swimming pool and an outdoor pool for the summer. The park in general is very clean and tidy. The complex is very well kept never a spot of rubbish in site, due to the amount of bins provided and the amount of glass collectors in the evening.

In the morning there is the usual Tiger Club T-CO and Paws. T-CO meets in Spatz and the rest is in spangles. I went to t-CO where I did stage works with Sian and Tigger, we made up a party dance and performed in during the party dances in the evening. For the rest of the week we did other activities with other Funstars such as orienteering and pool. Tiger club was also very good (yes I know I’m too old but I hid at the back!) The lunchtime activity on a Saturday is Talent rehearsals where the Funstars were very well organised! Everyone knew what they were doing so the evening ran well. Then after this there is usually a family game like giant drafts or family knockout again very well run.

The evening entertainment consisted of Tiger Club, which is usually presented by Jazz and Jim at the weekends, everyone got involved and seemed to be having fun. Party dances where I think nearly all the Funstars were on stage (not like other seasons!) and then a Cabaret or team show. After this would be gameshow time or the resident band Agenda. I have to say Steve is great at Gameshow he gets everyone up on their feet everytime, great guy. Agenda are back for their second season at Littlesea, nice to see them back.

The Teamshows this year are Hollywoodz and Viva Las Vegas they are both really good shows. Our Female vocalist is Jemma and Male Vocalist is Steve these to have real chemistry and connect instantly on stage. The dancers are Kim, Sian and Ang along with Jemma when not singing.

The team consists of Steve, Jemma, Sian, Tigger, Jazz, Jim, Kim, Nat, Susan and Angela. They are all great and have their own special qualities, I think this is the best team I have ever seen here as they are all nice and work well together.

Steve – is ents manger, he is really good, top bloke.

Jemma – Amazing singer! Its great to see how much she has improved over the years. She has a great personality to.

Sian – one of our T-CO leader and a great one at that, she is a really nice girl and a really good dancer.

Tigger – Really cool Funstar, she gets everyone involved in T-CO even if they don’t want to do something she will find them something to do! (Great at choreographing party dances too!)

Jazz – Really friendly girl, and seems to win every game of pool!!

Jim – this guy is soooooo funny, if you ever meet him you have to see his T-CO impression! He is hilarious!

Kim – wow what a dancer this is talent it really is! (The West End is waiting for her!)

Nat – really funny I get on really well with her she is so down to earth! And knows how to make you laugh.

Ang – really good dancer and a real character!

Susan – It’s her first season at haven but if I didn’t tell you that you really wouldn’t know, as she is great. She really stood out in Pirate mania great actress. Ahoy me Hearties!

Steve-o – is only 19 so is the baby of the team , again a top bloke and goes mental in the evening!

The nearest beach is Weymouth so you have a five min drive but there is a coastal path but I don’t know how long that take as I have never tried it and don’t intend to! You can see the sea from the park over chesil beach and the fleet but you can’t get to it.

I think people should visit Littlesea because we have an amazing team here they are such a talented bunch!

Well Done Team Littlesea 2005
