Seton Sands

Seton Sands is a fairly small family holiday park situated in East Lothian, Scotland just 12 miles from the capital city of Edinburgh. The park is very clean and tidy and has many activities for all of the family to enjoy, it provides a fun packed holiday for all ages.

There are two clubs situated inside the funworks complex at Seton Sands, the Showbar and the Terrace Bar.

The Showbar is a fair size and provides entertainment throughout the day. In the morning/afternoon children can go along and join the funstars for Paws for 1-4s, Rory & Bradley’s funtime for 5-11s or T-Co for 12-16s. There is also a wide range of shows which take place in the daytime as well – a star is born, panto time, meet & greet, character tales, rory and bradley’s wild west bonanza and many more! You can even go along for breakfast in the morning in the company of your favourite characters! The Showbar also provides excellent evening entertainment for all the family!! Again the kids can go along for fun and games and meet their favourite British Holiday characters, there is prize bingo, party dances and gameshows for everyone’s pleasure as well as a fantastic cabaret/show every evening. This includes singers, dancers, bands and even the circus, there is sure to be something to suit everyone! There is also a late night disco in the Showbar every evening before close to get yourself down on the dance floor for a boogie!

The Terrace Bar again is an average size and is open from early morning to serve breakfasts, a fantastic place to eat throughout the day, whether is be for breakfast, lunch, your evening meal or just a snack! The Terrace Bar welcomes all guest until 9pm where it then becomes over 18s only, again there is plenty of adult entertainment!

Both clubs contain fantastic and clean facilities as well as great entertainment through the day!

On site you will find a play park for your children to enjoy, as well as a multi sports court for all ages. Whatever sports you enjoy these facilities can be used! There is also a lovely beach just seconds away from the park in fact just across the road and a golf course close by! The amusement facilities are also good with pool tables, air hockey, dance machines and many more! The splash zone indoor heated pool is supervised at all times and can be used by all the guests with special facilities at certain times of the day such as waves and aqua jets, you can even learn to swim with the fully qualified lifeguards! On site you will also find a gift shop/mini market for all your needs and a laundrette!! Seton Sands also holds a famous fish and chip bar which is absolutely fantastic and the Terrace Bar is a lovely place to eat as well!

All of the staff on site are very welcoming and friendly and try to make your holiday the best ever!! The reception staff are very helpful in sorting you out with your keys, site passes and caravan location. Security are very chatty and friendly. The lifeguards are very good at keeping the swimming areas safe and making sure you have an enjoyable time in the pool! Funworks staff are also very helpful and friendly. The chefs and bar staff are all absolutely fantastic and work so hard to make your holiday enjoyable, give fast service and make you feel at home!

Funstars – the extremely hard working funstars at Seton Sands will most definitely make your holiday very enjoyable and an experience to remember! The funstars work so hard throughout the days to try and make everyone on site get the best from there holiday! They are all sooooooo welcoming and friendly and will never pass you without giving you a smile or saying hello! Always happy to join you for a chat or have their picture taken!! They are all absolutely fantastic on and off stage not just with the children but the adults as well!! Each individual funstar is unique and amazing in their own special way and a holiday at Seton Sands would be nothing without them!

Funstars 2005- Mark (ents manager) is a great singer, Hayley is a fantastic presenter, Charlie is really funny, Laura is good, Katy and Kim both such lovely girls always made time to speak to us no matter how busy they were or what they were doing, not just great with the kids but the adults too, amazing at their job – true starz!!

Meeting all of the fantastic staff at Seton Sands had to be one of the highlights of my holiday, they were all so nice!! The entertainment was excellent and there was always something to do, we never became bored! Our holiday was definitely a memorable one with no complaints at all, it was fantastic! Katy and Kim (funstars) , Jonovan and Devon (bar staff/chefs) were the people who stood out to us most as they were the people we got to know best throughout our holiday, they were amazing people with great personalities and we have some great memories of them!! Miss them loadz!

I would advise Seton Sands as a holiday park to anybody as it such a lovely place! A fairly small site so if you just wanted a quiet holiday it could be used for that as well, although if you are more of a lively holiday maker there is always lots to do, lovely people to meet and its a great experience!

Thanx to all of the team at Seton Sands 2005, u were all fantastic and gave us a holiday to remember!
